I’m not sure who it was exactly, but it doesn’t matter – I know someone led me to believe physiotherapy was sexy. It was supposed to be a spa like experience. White candles and scented oils… harp music in the back with the gurgling brook. I cried on Friday… like a lil child!
There’s this muscle that helps you rotate your leg and move around your hip. There’s a muscle that helps you to scratch that spot on your back that always needs scratching. There’s a muscle that helps your core stabilize you and contracts almost in the same way your body reacts when you try to stop peeing mid stream… Well nice to meet you all!!! Wholly Crap!
I have also reopened conversations with Mr Loopy. Not because he’s cool and I like to see him, more so a necessary conversation before I pull out what little hair I have left on my head. Physiotherapy hurts, that’s the truth. Don’t ask me if I think it will ultimately benefit me… ‘cause right now it freakin hurts!!!
Yes I’m doing my homework, and stretching all that needs to be stretched. Rotating this and that way 10 times and then switching. Holding for 15 secs then relaxing. Breathing…. Lots and lots of breathing.
The evaluation stage is over, so next week is full on work it out. The good thing I met a new friend, his name is TENS… thank you TENS, at least you understand. (click here to meet TENS)

TENS is the sh!t ... But beware, his effects fade fast ad before you know it, you're going up a notch every 20 seconds. I don't know who lied to you. Physio is a bitch by another name. You and I my friend, we will conquer her. I now have homework too. Mine includes strengthening the core and TA muscles...apparently they hold up and support your entire body. Who knew? I expect to resume our walks someday soon? Tell LOOPY that your visits will soon end so to get in some quality time now! ;)
